Found Volunteers Advocate for Rehabilitation and Adoption at Taste of Lincoln

Last weekend at the Taste of Lincoln Avenue, Found volunteers hit the streets to advocate for the rehabilitation of rescued animals and to inform the public about ways to get involved with Found’s various programs.  Some of our adoptable dogs even braved the heat to sport special donation collection vests and meet hundreds of people at the festival.  In just two days, we collected over $1000 in donations, made many valuable contacts with folks looking to support Found, and even found some potential forever homes for our rescued dogs!  A special thank you goes out to all the volunteers who made the weekend possible.  Found will be out in the community again at Northalsted Market Days on August 7th and 8th. If you are interested in volunteering at Market Days please email volunteer@foundchicago.org.
