Betty was on the list at the ACC to be euthanized only because she was covered in mange, a very treatable skin condition. Thousands of dogs and cats are euthanized each year due to having very treatable medical conditions that no one wants to deal with. At 7 months old, Found couldn't let them put her down and rescued her. Here are pictures of Betty when she first arrived at Found. The poor girl was sad and scared but we were able to treat her to a full recovery.
Betty looked and felt like a completely different dog by the time she was ready to meet her potential families. Her coat was back to normal and she was once again a confident dog! Shortly after, this bundle of love moved into her forever home with her new family! Today, Betty aka Zara is living large with her 2 canine siblings and enjoys the company of everyone. Her new parents could not be happier with their new addition to the family!
