Hercules

Who can forget Hercules – he survived being hit by a car and was left on the side of the road.  Hercules was then brought to the Animal Care and Control where they contacted his owners to come and pick him up.  However, his owners left him there for 15 days without any medical attention while trying to decide if they wanted to keep him.

After being neglected for days, Hercules' owners gave him up.  Luckily, a generous Wolves Hockey player donated money so Hercules could get the surgery needed for his hips.  Post surgery at Found, we rehabilitated him using water therapy and muscle building in hopes of a successful recovery. Despite all that he went through, Hercules is all love and has since found his forever home!  Though Hercules still walks with a minor limp, he is receiving great vet care and is improving.  Hercules and mom attended our annual event Day of the Dog in October, and we were thrilled to see him looking so handsome and confident.  He is at a healthy weight of 67lbs and is in positive spirits.  Hercules adores children and loves to play with toys.  He's now also a mama's boy and is spoiled with 5 walks a day and we could not be happier he is enjoying life again!
