Marla was to be euthanized at the Animal Care & Control because her looks were considered "unadoptable". This little girl had a bad underbite with extremely neglected teeth, as well as a cherry eye – which are both costly procedures. Marla was confused as to why she was at the ACC and was noted as a stray. Despite the fact that her owners had been contacted, they did not come to pick her up.
After settling into Found for a few days, Marla immediately moved into her foster home. During this time, she successfully underwent a dental procedure as well as a cherry-eye surgery. Her foster mom fell in love with her and became her forever home! It was love at first sight. Marla is so happy today and lives with her 4 legged sister Violet who is also her bff. Marla is a sweet, loving and loyal girl who loves making human and canine friends. She may not have the perfect smile but her inner beauty truly makes her a beautiful dog inside and out.
