Volunteer

There are many ways to help Found through three unique Volunteer Programs that help rehabilitate dogs and cats in need. In order to become a Dog Volunteer, Cat Volunteer or Administrative/Events Volunteer please carefully read the responsibilities, qualifications and prerequisites.

Notice: If you've already been a volunteer for Found, you have to re-apply to the program(s) of your choice.

Dog Volunteers must go through a very selective application, screening and training process in order to work with our dogs. This is due to maintaining the safety, health and well-being of the animals in our care, and of course maintaining the safety of the humans who care for them. Click here to learn about becoming a Dog Volunteer.

Cat Volunteers are asked to fill out an application and will be trained onsite by staff. Cat Volunteers are prohibited from interacting with Found's dogs while they are volunteering. You can become a cat and dog volunteer, but you must go through Found's Dog Volunteer process and be accepted into the dog program. Click here to learn about becoming a Cat Volunteer.

Administrative/Events Volunteers assist Found in a wide variety of important roles from helping screen potential adopters, to setting up for a special event, or assisting at the front desk. Found needs volunteers to help with our everyday operations so our rehabiliation center can function smoothly at all times. Click here to learn about becoming an Administrative/Events Volunteer
